An Opportunity to Make Music at the Highest Level
Vancouver Cantata Singers welcomes skilled vocalists who share a passion for choral excellence and artistic collaboration. Our members bring significant solo vocal training and extensive choral experience, united by a commitment to creating moving, expressive performances.
The Audition Process
We hold scheduled auditions annually. If you’re interested in joining, please email trevor@vancouvercantatasingers.com to let us know of your interest. You’ll receive details about the choir’s current season, upcoming audition dates, and a short questionnaire about your vocal training and experience.
Rehearsals
The choir prepares four to six concert programmes each season. Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. in East Vancouver, with additional Saturday morning rehearsals scheduled in the weeks leading up to concerts.
